Laura Preite

Laura started her career as a Student Veterinary Nurse at Abbey Veterinary Group in January 2002 where she worked and trained whilst attending training at Bottle Green Training College. She qualified as a Nurse in August 2005, then went on to Nurse at Davison’s Veterinary Surgery in Nottingham in October 2007.

She joined the team at Scarsdale Vets in August 2008, when she was offered the position of Retail/Clinic Nurse Manager at our practice on Kedleston Road. She briefly left nursing in January 2018 before joining our team again in October 2019 to work at our Mickleover practice.

Outside of work Laura has a love of fitness, having worked as a Fitness Instructor for eight years. Since hanging up her fitness instructor hat she has continued her love of exercise by doing CrossFit training. When not at work, she loves spending with her husband Mario and their pets Darcy, a Basset Fauve De Bratagne dog, and Nutella the cat
